Since many people have not watched the movie “Sin Nombre” I think it would be a good idea to give you a better understanding of what it is about.

Sin Nombre tells the sentimental story of two young adults trying to leave their home country to get to the United States. Both of them leaving for a different reason and meeting each other while on their journey.

The story follows a girl named Sarya and a boy named Willy, also nicknamed El Casper. Sarya is from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and her dad was deport from New Jersy. He wants to take Sarya and her Uncle back to New Jersy with him, but Sarya doesn’t want to leave Honduras. Her dad explains to her that she doesn’t have a choice and she will have to go back with him even if she doesn’t want to. In Tapachula, Mexico near the Guatemalan border is where Willy lives and he is a member of the Mara Salvatrucha. Willy introduced a little boy given the nickname smiley to his gang and is beaten up for thirteen seconds by all the members. During a gathering, Willy’s girlfriend follows them, but Willy had tried keeping her a secret from his gang. One of the characters name Lil Mago insists on taking WIlly’s girlfriend home and with no other chose he agrees. Instead of taking Willy’s girlfriend back home Lil Mago tried to rape her but ends up killing her. This makes Willy aggravated and he kills El Mago when they went on the train Sarya was one.
